Coach Daniel Blevins– California Storm

As a father and mentor, I believe in building strong, confident young women—both as athletes and as individuals. Every girl who comes through my program will walk away with more than just softball skills; she’ll gain life lessons in discipline, mental toughness, and self-belief. I create a space where athletes can grow, make mistakes, and trust their instincts—all while learning to outwork and outthink their competition. I lead by example and hold myself to the same high standards I expect from my players.

Hollister Heat
Coach Daniel began coaching in 2022 with the Hollister Heat 8U team as an Assistant Coach and quickly stepped into the Head Coach role the following season. Since then, he’s been committed to developing young athletes with a focus on:

• Mastering softball fundamentals and mechanics
• Strengthening mental performance and confidence
• Expanding game IQ and situational awareness

Though his personal baseball career ended in Little League, Coach Daniel brings a competitive edge from his high school background in football, wrestling, and track & field. His coaching style reflects a strong athletic foundation and a continual commitment to learning.

Coach Daniel is passionate about coaching female athletes and actively pursues knowledge through:

• Reading coaching and leadership literature
• Listening to softball-specific podcasts featuring elite players and coaches
• Engaging in open conversations with other coaches, parents, and athletes
