Kat Manuofetoa's Experience
Coach Kat brings over 12 years of playing experience and continues to compete at the collegiate level today. She also has a background in youth development with the Storm program.
She developed through the California Storm organization from 12U–18U before going on to a standout career at Monterey High School from 2019–2023. During that time, she earned All-County Honorable Mention in 2022, Second Team All-League honors in 2022 and 2023, and served as Varsity Team Captain in 2023. She also played a key role from behind the plate in Monterey High’s historic CCS and CIF NorCal Championship run in 2022, the first CCS title by a girls’ team in any sport in school history, and led the program to a back-to-back CCS Championship in 2023.
Coach Kat continued her career at Monterey Peninsula College from 2023–2025, earning Second Team All-Conference honors and received recognition in the Monterey Herald for College Athlete of the Week Honorable Mention in 2024. She will be continuing her academic and athletic career at the NCAA Division II level with California State University, Monterey Bay this year (2026).
In addition to her playing experience, she has two years of assistant coaching experience at the 10U and 12U levels. For the last two years she has also worked as a private catching and hitting instructor for athletes ranging from ages 9-16. She takes pride in her attention to detail, ability to connect with young athletes, and commitment to building strong fundamentals, confidence, and game awareness.”
