12TH ANNUAL “TOYS 4 TOTS” TOURNAMENT Details
TOURNAMENT WILL BE ON: DECEMBER 21ST , 2024
-Saturday, December 21st, 2024 - Men's/Women's Tournament (Coed allowed to play in men's division)
-Tournament fee is $345/Mens/Coed fee & $295/Womens fee (includes umpire fees).
-Each Team Is Required To Bring ONE Toy Per Player MINIMUM. (IN ADDITION TO TOYS : NEW AND LIGHTLY USED JACKETS AND BLANKETS ARE ALSO BEING ACCEPTED FOR HOMELESS).
- 3 game guarantee (2 Pool Play games followed by Single Elimination)
-Taking the first 24 Men's teams and 6 womens teams.
-Gate fee is $10.00 (cash only) for all players and spectators. Children 10&under are FREE.
-Last day to sign up will be Dec. 10th at 4pm, or once Full.
-ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS BOTTLES IN THE PARK , DUGOUT , OR IN THE PARKING LOT!
TO PREVENT TEAM JUMPING OR CONFUSION:
*EVERY TEAM IS REQUIRED TO TURN IN A ROSTER TO UMPIRE by the second GAME.

Rules & Regulations
CALIFORNIA STORM
2024 ADULT TOURNAMENTS
The following rules are designed to conserve time and eliminate confusion.
Please follow them, as they WILL be enforced.
- The tournament Directors decisions are final. - Brooke Johnston
- Play with the team you came with. (U.S.A. Rules apply) No team jumping. If you are team jumping, you will automatically be ejected from the tournament along with the coach of the team you jumped to and are playing for. Rosters must be submitted by beginning of the second game, along with fees and toys!
- Umpires have Official Time. Teams are responsible for verifying start/end time of game at start.
- Game time is forfeit time. No new inning will start after 55 minutes. Time limit is 60 minutes. NO TIES!
- Teams must be at field ready to play 15 minutes prior to scheduled game time. In pool play games, coin flip will determine the home team. In single elimination games, the higher seed will be the home team. (NOTE: In bracket games with no seeding, coin flip will determine the home team.)
- Run rule: 20 after 4 innings, and 15 after 5 innings including championship game.
- Ties: NO TIES! After time expires or 7 innings the game will immediately go into the tie-breaker system, the LAST BATTER will be placed on second base. This will continue until winner is decided.
- Batters begin with a 1 ball and 1 strike count. NO EXTRA FOUL.
- Strike will consist of a mat and will be 6 to 12 foot arc.
- Home Runs – 2 per game/team.
- MEN’S - One courtesy runner per inning PLUS THE PITCHER.
- Teams may start a game with 8 players. Only 2 additional players can be placed at the bottom of the lineup if the team has already batter around. 12 players max can be batted in lineup.
- No steel cleats. IMMEDIATE REMOVAL OR EJECTION.
- Any team that causes ANY TYPE OF DISRUPTION to the tournament will be removed from the tournament/facility per Directors discretion. -Umpires will toss players at their discretion. 2 OR MORE EJECTIONS FROM A TEAM WILL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC FORFEIT AND TEAMS REMOVAL FROM THE TOURAMENT. Further actions may be taken if necessary.
- All bats must meet current U.S.A. approval and / or tourney restrictions. (No USSS/ Senior Bats)
- In the event of weather delays a one pitch rule will be enforced to remedy schedule conflicts. All other rules are U.S.A. All other questions are covered by Rule #1.
